So very good and very bad news Empty So very good and very bad news

Post by Missy Fits Wed Jan 12, 2011 7:03 am

I've applied a few months ago for a 3 year student visa at Japan and I just received a call today saying that my visa has been granted. With the exception that a few more forms need to filled by my mom that says she can pay for the fee's of my tuition and living expenses.

Bad news is that it's not a guarantee that I'm granted access into the country due to their Immigration control act which is extremely strict. To surmise everything it says that I need to get fingerprinted and sign several forms which guarantee's passage into the country.

So anyways giving you guys a heads up before you wonder about my move in the summer. Don't want you to go wtfbbqnez. So very good and very bad news 587879

Oh before anyone ask i'll be going to a local private, all girls, school in Wada, Suginami. Heres a link to their website if your interested:

Sounds Awesome Shocked Lucky you, right? Itd be a mircale if I ever get to go to Japan So very good and very bad news 911228 Well, for now you can just have high hopes that you'll be accepted, and knowing your skills, you'd do great at that school. Sure, we probably wouldn't see you as much, and that would suck, but the important thing would be that you're moving ahead in life, and doing what you love.

Proud of you Irene Smile

Congrats! You are one lucky girl, going to Japan. It's one of the top 5 countries I want to visit.

Anyway, hope you get all those forms done, and remember to always visit here for good health. Smile

There are not unfortunately. I'm pretty fluent in speaking japanese and with romanji (japanese katanana into english) but I'm still not as great in reading and translating, I keep translating it into English which in some cases completely wrong. I still have half a year to get use to it, so I shouldnt fret about it.

I've talked to a lady that runs an off campus housing for foreign students, it's going to be fun because of all the people from other countries. They have a few students as of now from the States, Canada, New Zealand, and a bunch of other countries.
